GI Resistance Podcast
Coming April 30, 2025

Welcome, friend!
We are thrilled to announce that our podcast, A Matter of Conscience: GI Resistance During the Vietnam War launches on April 30, 2025! This is the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War.
Our podcast tells the story of the anti-war GI Movement by using audio interviews with soldiers who resisted fighting during the Vietnam War, often collaborating with the civilian pro-peace movement. Hosts Willa Seidenberg and Bill Short bring a unique perspective. Bill is a veteran who, after four months in combat, refused to keep fighting. He and Willa interviewed 58 resistance veterans in the late 1980s and early 1990s. To give context, these veterans’ stories are supplemented with interviews of historians, legal experts, and others involved with the anti-war GI movement
